Software Engineering Intern · Bangalore
Hi, I’m Abhiram.

IIT Delhi · 2026
I’m a dual-degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) student in Computer Science at IIT Delhi, graduating in 2027. I spend most of my time on deep learning questions where model design and engineering details both matter: sensor geometry, data scarcity, and reliable evaluation.
Lately, most of my time has gone into CycloFormer, a rotation-invariant transformer for hand-pose estimation from wrist surface electromyography. It is joint work with Prof. Chetan Arora at IIT Delhi and Ankush Gupta at Google DeepMind, and is currently under review at NeurIPS 2026.
I’m drawn to work that combines careful experimentation, strong engineering, and a taste for hard technical problems. Recently, that has meant wearable biosignals, equivariant models, scaling behaviour, and ML systems.

- Cricket — playing on weekends, watching whatever Test happens to be on. The shorter formats can wait.
- Counter-Strike 2 in the evenings — the cleanest 25-minute distraction I’ve found.
- Singing — exclusively alone, exclusively when the apartment is empty. House rule, not negotiable.
